New iPad Announced! Retina Display, 4G LTE, A5X and more!
Apple has just announced the iPad 3 at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco! The new Apple slate has a absolutely crazy high-res retina screen clocking in at a stagering 2048x1536 resolution - that is 264 pixels per each inch of it 9.7 inch display that is now 44% more saturated than before. The new iPad also packs a Dual-Core A5X CPU with Quad-Core Graphics this all in conjunction with 4G LTE Available on Verizon, AT&T, Rogers, Bell and Telus!
But that isn’t all; the New Tablet is also packing a dramatically improved 5 Megapixel Camera that sports backside illumination, a five element lens and 1080p video recording capabilities. In order to power all this new kit apple has had to increase the size of the battery and in turn the thickness and weight; moving from 1.35 pounds and 8.8mm to 1.4 pounds and 9.4mm respectively.
The iPad 3 will be launching in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia all on the 16th of March!

If one compares the release dates of Apple products to say, those of HTC or Samsung, they will see a radical difference. While it seems that those big companies make a new phone or tablet every week, Apple makes long delays between its releases, building up more suspense, more excitement, and thus probably better sales. So now, almost half a year after the release of the iPhone 4S, Apple is ready to spill the beans on its latest piece of hardware. According to the teaser picture released by Apple – that of a finger poised above the date of March 7th, we can assume that apple will announce their new iPad 3 in a mere 6 days. So it would only seem appropriate to roundup all those rumours that have been circulating the web about the new Apple Monster.
