HTC One X Review Roundup!

By Nick Maizlin (@GhostProShark)
The new HTC One X has arrived and while you’re waiting for our full review of, you can read on and see what the other guys (and gals) are saying.
“Buying an HTC One X is a lot like getting a unicorn; it’s wild, fast, white, beautiful, expensive and fickle. Still, it gives even the mighty Galaxy Nexus a run for its money.”
~Engadget, Myriam Joire
“HTC has done something special with the One line…Just give me a One X running something closer to stock Android 4.0, HTC, and I believe you’ve got the best smartphone ever made.”
~The Verge, Chris Ziegler
“HTC’s 2011 range struggled to compete with their predecessors, but the One X is leagues ahead of where the Sensation series left off. It’ll take more than good looks and a fast chip to make the One X an automatic success… but it’s is a capable phone… a sign that HTC has finally turned a corner in its strategy and products.”
~SlashGear, Chris Davies
“If you’ve been dreaming of a wonderfully powerful Android 4.0 smartphone boasting everything but the kitchen sink and don’t live in theU.S., the globally available HTC One X could have your name on it.”
~CNET
“The battery life [is bad], but it’s not an insurmountable problem… it’s just frustrating… The HTC One X is a beautiful piece of kit. It’s stylishly designed, light, has a cracking screen and comes with enough future-proofing to make us believe our grandchildren may still have one.”
~TechRadar, Gareth Beavis
“Its camera may not be the best in the business and the Sense UI might need some fine tuning, but… it’s really easy to recommend the One X to those currently in a search of a cutting-edge smartphone - the specs and design combo it offers can’t be matched by any other device currently on the market… the One X is the proper choice for geeks.”
So while the One X does have its ups and downs – nothing is invincible – we can see that HTC put forth a solid effort, coming out with one of the fastest, most stylish devices currently in the market.
